African American Studies at UC Berkeley hosts a cocktail reception to celebrate the achievements of our department, its people, and to honor our supporters in partnership with the Office of Alumni Relations, the Social Sciences Dean’s Office, and the Black Alumni Association.
Legacies and Futures: Celebrating Black Studies at Berkeley will be a joyful celebration of our students, faculty, and community and our achievements in the past year, including our Summer in the South trip to South Carolina, engaged public programming through the Banned Scholars Project, and our successful Big Give fundraising campaign. The event will feature H. Michael and Jeanne Williams Chair Ula Taylor, Professor Nikki Jones, our outstanding students, and recognition of our donors and partners. Don’t miss this opportunity to come together for Black Studies at UC Berkeley. Refreshments and drinks will be provided.
