Three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisites: African American Studies 143A or consent of instructor recommended. Development of scholarly material for theatrical presentation and enhancement of dramatic performance techniques through discussions, improvisations and readings of work conceived by the class and/or writers in other African American Studies courses.
